Station type of work - Sierra Blanca is a checkpoint station on I-10 coming out of El Paso. As far as checkpoint work is concerned, it's great! They've got lots of work. It might be a couple grams of marijuana found in the suitcase of a passenger on a Greyhound Bus or 4000+ pounds of dope or 30-40 aliens in a semi-truck, and everything in between, coke, heroin, steroids, fugitives.

They also do some line watch and roving patrol.

      Eateries -

      Cellular Telephone -

Other Services - is 33 miles away to the East, it has a hospital, school, and a grocery store. Sierra Blanca is small, has two gas stations, a school and one small store. El Paso, the nearest city, is 80 miles to the West.

Any other information that you would like to add: The town of Sierra Blanca is a typical Texas border town. However, El Paso (Wal-Mart's, Doctors and Dentists) is only 1 hour away.
