Station type of work - Wellton is up off the border, no "X"s. The line is the focus - so they have Camp Grip where agents "rough it" down on the border in a remote camp for at least a week at a time.  No going home for a week (unless a big emergency).  Lots of signcutting, and tracking, and 4x4 time.

There are some back roads around the Gila River/Colorado River junction that the load vehicles can slip through on, and railroad trains parallel I-8 toward Phoenix, the aliens can ride like hobos.

The main turf you will patrol will be between the Gila Mountains and the Mohawk Mountains in open desert of sand, clay, and rock with sparse shrubs, some cactus.  Lots of 4x4 time, and tracking to catch illegal entrants traveling on foot, in vehicles, even on bicycles.

Other Services - There is a new housing tract going up near Wellton, with a golf course, so things are changing bit by bit, but the City of Yuma nearby has the most amenities to offer.  Commuting to Wellton from the east side of Yuma (The Foothills) would be easy.
