Any other information you’d
like to add: Population: approx 10,000; very
close to Bellingham and it’s amenities. This town
has a very small town feel. Town was started by Dutch
immigrants and still has that flair and encourages tourists
to visit with this theme. They have an annual Dutch festival,
windmills and tulips in front yards and local merchants
dress in costume, including clogs! This is a very religious
orientated town with tons of different Christian based
denominations. (About 8 yrs ago, I tried to go shopping
at the local grocery store and couldn’t because
it was on a Sunday, and store closed due to religious
reasons. Don’t know if that’s still the case!)
