Apartments where some agents live now...a few do live at Quail Creek, but now many from my husband's class (including us) live at Cienega Linda, Lago Del Mar, Windsor, Carmel, etc. These apartments are generally a lot nicer than Quail Creek and are mostly located on the northeast part of the city, the newer part of Laredo, except for Carmel which is near the World Trade Bridge, but it is also brand new. Prices may seem a little high, but worth it because the apartments are really nice and spacious, all have nice clean pools (for kids!!), some with garages, covered parking, etc.
South Laredo - Same goodies
listed in the laredo north link as far as the town goes.
The stations are only 2 miles apart.
As far as Laredo south goes, we have no checkpoint, but
do have a few X's and lots of city patrol.
