Station type of work - Kingsville is checkpoint station. Plenty of highway and brushwork. No hard "X" as defined on line stations. Plenty of dope at the checkpoint and good place to practice breaking and processing aliens. Details are available that includes ATV, Brush Crew, Academy Instructor, BORCAP and most other that you would find in other stations.

Any other information that you would
like to add: Kingsville is small enough to have that
small town feel but large enough to offer you choices
in activities, shopping and housing!
--Corpus is about 40 minutes away, depending on road conditions.
The Agents who live there like the city life, and put
up with the commute. You will be working ten plus hours
a day, so if you choose to locate there, you might want
to consider carpooling. There are some apartment complexes
near Chapman Ranch road on West Staples.
Hawks Landing is an apartment complex five
minutes away from the Kingsville station. I highly recommend
looking into this. It is military housing, but will rent
to BP if there is a vacancy and no military personnel
are interested. Rent is just under 900 bucks a month for
a three bedroom, two bathroom unit. Nice housing, if you
ask me. There is a golf course directly across the street.
--If you like fishing, you will fit right
in with the rest of the guys. Ditto with softball. Fishing,
I've heard, is excellent in this area.
--Port Aransas beach is also very nice,
and much closer to Kingsville than South Padre.
--The ranches are very beautiful, and there
is nothing in the world better than stalking the wiley
extranjero in the middle of the night.
