Any other information you would like to add: There are several cities to live in out here. Calexico is the closes to the station, Heber,  El Centro is the largest town, north of that is Imperial (which is where Sector HQ's are located ), Holtville (home of the Carrot Festival) andBrawley (Home of the Cattle Call Rodeo).  It is hot from May to October, but the mall is indoors :)  In the winter, it is nice out. Lots of days of sunshine! Unlike Arizonia, we are not prone to Monsoon season. Rarely, a random aggressive storm will pass through.  We are located only 2 hours from San Diego, 2 hours from Palm Springs and one hour from Yuma, AZ. If you are a fan of ATV's, there are two popular areas to ride; Imperial Valley Dunes as well as Glamis.  If you have kids, there is a really neat indoor playland that is designed for kids 0 to 6 called "The Family Treehouse."  They provide development screenings and fun classes throughout the week. The local libraries also dedicate at least one day a month to a storytime.  This is the "Home of the Blue Angels" as well and there is a free air show on the base nearby in March. There is also a county fair in February. The rodeo is in November. So there is a lot to do here! :)  We are right on a faultline, so just make sure you strap your furniture for safety.
