Shopping - In Brackettville there is a Super S Food Store but most people go to either Del Rio or Uvalde where HEB foods and Wal-Mart Super centers are located. Del Rio does have a mall that has JCPenny, Bealls, Bath and Body Works, and some other small shops.
In Uvalde they have recently built a new Super Wal-Mart and are in the process of building a new strip mall.

Eateries - Brackettville-Barbara’s Table, Burger & Shake, Krazy Chicken, Taco Express and MiMi restaurant located on fort Clark.
Del Rio has Chili’s, Applebee’s, McDonalds, Burger King, Whataburger, several Chinese restaurants, Jitra Thai, as of December 2004 a new International House of Pancakes is being built.

Any other information that you would like to add: The School District is Brackett ISD and provides PK-12 grade. The classes are small and the district is known for their technological abilities. All classrooms have multiple computers and internet access. The High School is able to offer Telecampus courses through other school districts so that students can receive Advanced and Dual Credit courses.
