Station(s) type of work
-
Naco & Douglas
-Douglas and Naco are "Line Stations"
meaning that they are both located on the border. There
a numerous duties such as : Line watch, Transportation
Check (busses and shuttle's) Traffic Ops(highway and checkpoint)I
believe pretty much the same as all of the AZ stations
save a few. They are both full gammett BP Stations. Guys
and Gals stationed at either can expect to be absolute
experts in all areas of Border Patrol work after a few
years.(If they wish) Both stations utilize all of the
latest BP technology and have the worst vehicles :). Why
the worst vehicles? Because we spend the majority of our
time patrolling the Border off road. The Naco and Douglas
Stations are responsible for a huge chunk of border stretching
from the New Mexico/AZ state line to the Coronado National
Monument.
Shopping - Safeway Grocery
and Drug, ALCO Store (has clothing, household, health
& beauty, toys, electronics, etc), Family Dollar,
Car quest Auto. "Old Bisbee" has various shops
that sell antiques, and art.
Eateries - Some of the
BEST dining in Cochise county is here.Café Roka,
Bisbee Grille, and the Brewery to name a few! For something
quick, try Burger King, Tachos Tacos, Pizza House, Ken's
Oldtyme Pizza, Pizzarama, or Beto's.
Cellular Telephone - Sprint
works well. Don't have any info on the others.
Local Internet Providers

Other Services - Bisbee
has everything you might need, although the selection
may not be as large as a larger town.
Any other information that you would
like to add:
Bisbee is a great small town with a lot
to offer. If you prefer less commercialism and more nature,
Bisbee is for you. In Bisbee you can enjoy peace and quiet,
great wildlife and scenery. Housing costs considerably
less than Sierra Vista. Check out the city web site
