Station type of work - The Station covers the east side of the city and county with a checkpoint on the highway (62/180) to Carlsbad. Lots of good PAs and a variety of work. You certainly aren't going to get rocked everyday. A large city with "amenities". As long as there's Juarez, there will be activity. The station hasn't grown too much since I was there. And then, we might have a dozen PAs with 17 miles of river, checkpoint, etc. to cover. Technically, there were some Xs. Sure, but that was because the aliens would be long gone if they weren't deterred. And while that X is occupied, they'll attempt somewhere else. That's linewatch. But with those Xs, we stopped the rush of illegal entries, got some breathing room and started a considerable bike patrol, anti-smuggling, focused prosecution (everyone with 5 prior entries), task forces, aerial observer details, instructor gigs, details to other agencies, etc.
